Room Moderation

The following are room moderation tools that can be accessed from a Leader's personal tablet:

Mute All

On the top row of the personal tablet, there is the Mute Self icon and Mute All icon. The Mute All icon mutes all Participants in the room except for other Leaders.

Recenter All

Getting into VR can be tricky and users don't always set their guardian floor boundary properly. If users come into the scene and they appear lower or higher in their chair click the Recenter All button on the top row of the tablet.

Seat Switching

Sometimes it's good to get a different perspective around the room. To enable seat switching for themselves, a Leader can expand the section next to the Recenter button and click the chair icon so they can switch to open seats within the room.

If a Leader wants everybody to be able to switch seats, they will press the "Enable For All" button in the top right corner of the seat switching button.

User Banning

If a specific user needs to be removed from a session or muted a Leader can access moderation controls for that user from the quick menu.

1. Open the quick menu

2. Expand the section next to the "You" button at the far left of the quick menu

3. Select User Control List

4. Clicking on the name of the user who needs to be moderated

5. To ban the user, click on the fourth button which will say "Allowed" when hovered over, but will switch to "Banned" if the button is clicked

6. To mute the user, you can click on the second button that looks like a microphone.

Secret Chat

Once enabled, a user will be able to point at another user and hold down the trigger button to be able to speak to them and them only. This can be enabled for just the Leader, or for everybody in the meeting.

To enable Secret Chat, the Leader will click on the "Expand" arrow to the right of the Mute button. Then they will click on the Secret Chat button to enable secret chat for themselves. If they wish to enable this feature for everyone in the room, they will select the "Enable for All" button in the top right corner of the button.
